We propose a method to generate a whole-body human shape from partial measured data of an individual. In this method, a standard model, which represents statistic knowledge of human shapes, is introduced. First, we estimate an approximate shape of the individual from the partial measured data by using the database of human body characteristics. To generate this shape, we divide the standard model into several parts, and enlarge or reduce each part independently. Second, we locally deform the estimated shape to fit the measured data. In our experiments, the individual whole-body shape that has efficient characteristics is obtained.
